Last Sunday night’s LIFE Group Celebration confirmed what a powerful experience this year’ groups have been for Northlake!

Group Registration will reopen in August, with a Kick-Off gathering Sunday night,  August 26.

Thanks to everyone who led and participated the past 9 months, we look forward to continuing this LIFE journey together in the Fall.

Northlake hosts the Oklahoma Christian University Bands in concert on Wednesday, May 2, at 7pm.  

Featured university groups will include the Symphonic Band, under the direction of Dr. John Fletcher, and the Jazz Ensemble, directed by Dr. Heath Jones. The concert will offer a variety of musical styles, including traditional and contemporary concert band literature, plus a sampling of sixty years of big band jazz.  This concert is part of a twelve-day tour that includes scheduled stops in Henderson, TN; Biloxi, MS; Montgomery, AL; Atlanta, GA; Brooksville, Mt. Dora, and Orlando, FL; Antioch and Nashville, TN; Little Rock, AR.

Musical groups from Oklahoma Christian University take annual tours to many regions of the United States.  Highlights of past band tours have included performances at both Disney World and Disneyland, on the steps of the U.S. Capitol, on the steps of New York’s City Hall, and in such places as Dallas, Las Vegas, Louisville, Cincinnati, Salt Lake City, Denver, Chicago, St. Louis, Atlanta, and Canada. 

The concert will be out on the lawn (weather permitting), so come and enjoy a pleasant evening outdoors with some really good music!

Last Sunday Lipscomb University’s Service Club was in town and hosted a block party in Clarkston for some of our buddies!
